Hi, I'm the creator of the PC Sleep software utility. The first version of this software was developed by me years ago for Windows 98 because I liked listening to music from my computer before I fell asleep. The problem with that was my computer's fan would always wake me up in the middle of the night. I decided to develop a utility to shutdown my PC in a selected amount of time. You can imagine my satisfaction after its first use. Maybe not... but I can. haha. Since then I was looking around through various things at http://www.codeproject.com/ one day, and noticed a utility similar to mine developed by Suneth Mendis, who developed his "Auto Shutdown" program from other various examples of code along with his own innovations. Auto Shutdown is the core of PC Sleep 2. Thanks Suneth. It was also a blast to work with Chase who did all of the artwork for PC Sleep 2. Thanks an undefined amount Chase for working with me, hosting my program, and being a friend.

Pc Sleep is a "Sleep" timer for your computer. Automated Shutdown, Restart, Log Off, Standby, and Hibernate Windows functions in a user friendly, menu-driven program.
You can leave your computer and PC Sleep will safely perform the selected function in the entered amount of time with no effort on your part. A noticeable pop-up window will appear when there is one minute left on the timer. The same window will pop-up if no time is selected; giving you 30 seconds to stop the timer before PC Sleep executes the selected function.
This utility is particularly good for long downloads where you would like your computer to shut down after a certain amount of hours, playing music before you go to bed, or any other reason you might need PC Sleep to perform its functions while you're away from your computer.
